NCB Bengaluru's Massive Drug Disposal Drive: 128.76 kg of Narcotics Incinerated

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in Bengaluru destroyed 128.76 kg of narcotics worth an estimated Rs 38 crore on Friday. The drugs were incinerated at a certified facility as part of the second drug disposal drive of the year.

Acting under the guidelines of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act and the Supreme Court, the NCB's Bengaluru zonal unit is committed to reducing drug trafficking. This year's two drives have thus far seen 1735 kg of narcotics disposed of.

The NCB has urged citizens to report any drug trafficking activities to their Helpline 1933, assuring that informants' identities will remain confidential, and rewards will be given for valuable information.
