Unexploded Steel Bomb Raises Tensions in Kuthuparamba

A steel bomb was thrown at a woman's residence near Kuthuparamba early Friday morning, failing to explode, thus averting injuries, according to police.

Authorities suspect personal enmity as the attack's motive and have initiated efforts to identify the perpetrator, ruling out political angles.

Surveillance footage showed a masked man approaching the house and hurling an object before fleeing. The device shattered a window and landed in the house compound. The woman, alerted by the noise, called the police, who confiscated the device.
