Key Diplomatic Talks: Regional Ministers Convene in Antalya

In a move set to shape the regional diplomatic landscape, foreign ministers from Turkey, Pakistan, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia will gather in Antalya this Friday. This meeting, occurring on the sidelines of a notable diplomacy forum, aims to tackle the pressing issue of the ongoing Iran war, according to a Turkish diplomatic source.

The dialogue is anticipated to focus on crafting regional solutions for regional challenges. Of particular interest is the U.S.-Israel-Iran conflict, with ministers keen on fostering a sense of regional ownership in the peace process. This approach underscores the commitment to finding a lasting resolution to the longstanding tensions.

This meeting follows two prior gatherings held in March, as part of concerted efforts to mediate an end to the Iran conflict. Turkey, which shares a border with Iran, has maintained active engagement with the U.S., Iran, and key mediator Pakistan, signalling its strategic role in the ongoing diplomatic negotiations.
