Daring Encounter: Police Nab Interstate Theft Gang
Three suspected gang members were arrested in a dramatic police encounter in Uttar Pradesh. The accused, linked to multiple interstate thefts, engaged in a brief shootout before being apprehended. Injured and armed with firearms, they confessed to numerous thefts across several states. Legal proceedings have been initiated.

In a recent police operation in Uttar Pradesh, three suspected members of an interstate theft gang were arrested after a dramatic encounter, as confirmed by law enforcement officials. The incident took place on Friday near a local medical college campus.
Superintendent of Police Vinay Kumar Singh reported that a coordinated effort by the Kotwali Orai police station and the surveillance unit led to the entrapment of the suspects. Upon spotting the authorities, the suspects fired at the police, resulting in a retaliatory exchange in which the suspects sustained bullet injuries to their legs.
The apprehended individuals, identified as Bharat Bhil, Anil Bhil, and Dinesh Bhil, are residents of Madhya Pradesh. They were found in possession of firearms, cash, and theft tools. Initial interrogations revealed their involvement in theft operations across Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Bihar. The police stated that a case is filed, and further investigations are ongoing.
