Jammu and Kashmir Police Seize Drug Peddlers' Properties
Jammu and Kashmir Police have seized properties worth over Rs 55 lakh linked to two drug peddlers in Rajouri and Udhampur districts. The actions are part of the 'Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyan' to curb narcotics trafficking and dismantle financial networks of those involved in drug trade.

In a significant move towards combating the drug menace, the Jammu and Kashmir Police have seized properties exceeding Rs 55 lakh, linked to two notorious drug peddlers operating in the Rajouri and Udhampur districts.
Officials revealed that a single-storey residence valued at Rs 43.13 lakh, owned by Sourab Kumar from Muradpur, was confiscated in Rajouri. Kumar faces multiple charges under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. Meanwhile, in Udhampur, authorities seized a Honda City with an estimated worth of Rs 12 lakh belonging to Rakesh Kumar, known for drug trading activities. The vehicle was reportedly bought with drug money, according to police sources.
These actions form part of the 'Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyan', a campaign aimed at eradicating drug trafficking and dismantling the financial networks supporting this illicit trade.
