Stone-Pelting Chaos: Vinod's Daring Escape from Police Custody
Three individuals were arrested for allegedly attacking a police team with stones to facilitate the escape of an accused, Vinod, in Khatoli town. The police had taken Vinod into custody under the NDPS Act when a mob intervened violently. A case has been registered, and a search for Vinod is ongoing.

Khatoli town witnessed chaos on Wednesday as an accused under the NDPS Act, Vinod, made a brazen escape from police custody with the help of a crowd.
Police initially apprehended Vinod, but their efforts were thwarted when a mob intervened, pelting stones at the officers to secure Vinod's release. According to Circle Officer Ramashish Yadav, the police's attempt was met with strong resistance, leading to the daring escape.
Authorities have since arrested three individuals, identified as Sunder, Sonu, and Upendra, for their involvement in the attack. A case has been filed under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Criminal Law Amendment Act, 1932. Meanwhile, heightened security measures are in place as a search for Vinod and other assailants continues.
