Massive Opium Bust: Authorities Seize 12 Kilograms in Daring Raid

An unlawful opium cultivation operation was dismantled on Wednesday as authorities seized over 12 kilograms of the illicit substance, police officials reported.
Following a tip-off, the Special Operations Group and local police collaborated in a raid on a field situated in Dhangar Sarai Chivlaha village, approximately 30 kilometres from the district headquarters.
Deputy Superintendent of Police, Manoj Kumar Singh Raghuvanshi, expressed that the field is believed to be owned by a man named Gaurav Singh. The operation led to the confiscation of opium worth lakhs of rupees and the detention of two suspects linked to the case.
