In a crackdown on illicit nightlife activities, Delhi Police have booked a bar owner for orchestrating unauthorized dance performances without the necessary licensing. The establishment, located in Delhi's Paharganj area, was raided by a special team from the local police department.
During the operation, authorities discovered small quantities of ecstasy (MDMA), further implicating individuals present at the location. The bar's manager, identified as Tasleem, faces charges under multiple legal statutes, including those related to obscene acts and disobedience.
Besides legal actions against the bar's personnel, the Municipal Corporation has been notified of the license violations for additional administrative measures. Police emphasize a zero-tolerance policy towards such infractions to maintain order and safety in the community.
