Authorities apprehended the 22-year-old early Wednesday, following an FIR filed under sections pertaining to unlawful religious conversion and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The complaint was submitted by the victim's mother, alleging deception used by the accused.
The victim was safely rescued, and the accused, Monu, was presented in court, resulting in his judicial custody, confirming that legal proceedings will continue.
