A Delhi court has placed Shabir Ahmed Lone, an alleged Lashkar-e-Taiba handler, in judicial custody for seven days based on a request by city police.
This move follows an earlier decision to place Lone in police custody for five days after his arrest on March 29 by the Special Cell's New Delhi range team.
Authorities captured Lone in the Ghazipur area linked to a terror module active since February. Delhi Police describe Lone as a proficient terrorist with ISI ties, operating under aliases like Raja and Kashmiri, and allegedly handling a busted group that posted anti-national material in Delhi and Kolkata.
