A 32-year-old woman, employed as outsourced staff in a government department, was allegedly raped by an unidentified assailant in Macherla, according to local police officials.
The incident occurred when, under the guise of asking for water, the attacker forcibly entered her home. The woman, who lived alone after separating from her husband, was subsequently taken to a local hospital for medical examinations.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has instructed police to swiftly bring the perpetrator to justice, emphasizing stringent measures to deter future offenses against women.
