An Indian LPG tanker, Green Sanvi, has successfully traversed the war-affected Strait of Hormuz, carrying essential cooking gas supplies. This marks continued fuel inflows despite regional disruptions. Another vessel from Iran has reached India, indicating a temporary easing of sanctions and addressing severe LPG shortages.

An Indian LPG tanker named Green Sanvi has successfully navigated the conflict-laden Strait of Hormuz, carrying 46,650 tonnes of essential LPG. This strategic breakthrough signifies a steady influx of fuel amidst regional turmoil.
Separate reports convey that an Iranian LPG vessel, Sea Bird, has berthed at Mangalore port, delivering over 44,000 tonnes of gas. This marks a significant energy purchase from Iran after seven years, following U.S. sanctions being temporarily lifted to curb skyrocketing oil prices due to Middle East tensions.
Amidst these successful voyages, a total of 17 Indian vessels remain stranded in the western Strait, prompting meticulous monitoring by Indian authorities. Despite the geopolitical challenges, Indian seafarers are reported safe, with maritime operations continuing undisrupted and strategic efforts underway to maintain India's gas supply.
