The much-anticipated Goa leg of Grammy-winning DJ Black Coffee's India tour was abruptly canceled on Friday evening. Authorities revoked the No Objection Certificate, citing the need to respect Good Friday's solemnity.
Officials from the Communidade of Anjuna, who had initially granted permission, withdrew it after local residents and the Congress party raised objections. They noted the significance of the day as a reason for cancellation.
