A woman in north Delhi faced violent assault allegations after being accused of stealing cashew nuts, officials reported Friday. The incident unfolded on March 28 in the Burari area, according to the FIR.
In response, an FIR was lodged, detailing how the accused women allegedly forced the victim to the store's back area. There, she faced physical assault, resulting in a fracture and a consciousness loss.
The woman's husband, alarmed by unanswered calls, arrived at the location and contacted authorities. The police initiated an investigation under relevant sections following the woman's formal complaint at the Burari police station.
