A member of the State Reserve Police Force was killed in Nagpur, leading to the arrest of five individuals, police stated on Friday.
The incident occurred when Assistant Sub-Inspector Pankaj Thakur objected to his daughter's boyfriend, Akash Mandal, maintaining contact with his minor daughter during a local temple event.
Following a confrontation, Akash and his associates returned with weapons, fatally attacking Thakur and injuring his brother-in-law. The investigation continues, with multiple arrests already made.
