In a fiery commentary, DMK leader Kanimozhi on Thursday lambasted the AIADMK for its affiliation with the BJP, drawing parallels with JD(U) chief Nitish Kumar’s fate. Speaking at a rally ahead of the April 23 polls, she framed the election as a critical juncture between Tamil heritage and Nagpur-based RSS ideologies.
Emphasizing the significance of Tamil culture, Kanimozhi pointed to the Keeladi archaeological findings, accusing the BJP government of suppression due to its cultural implications. This stance highlights Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin’s urging for the central acceptance of these historic discoveries. She criticized AIADMK leader Edappadi K Palaniswami’s lack of support for the Tamil cause.
Kanimozhi also expressed anticipation for a DMK victory, projecting it as a beacon of hope against divisive politics. She reiterated DMK’s commitment to its “Muthalvar Padaippagam” initiative, promising development and opportunities for Tamil youth.
