High-Security Breach: Theft at Police Quarters Raises Alarm

An audacious theft has been reported from the Kotwali Orai police station premises, highlighting glaring security lapses. The incident took place in the homes of two sub-inspectors, where valuable items were stolen.
Circle Officer Rajeev Kumar Sharma detailed the incident, explaining that Sub-Inspector Uday Pratap Singh, who lodged the complaint, discovered that thieves gained entry by cutting a window with a gas cutter. Items stolen included Rs 3 lakh in cash and significant amounts of jewellery.
Similarly, Sub-Inspector Ashok Kumar Singh's residence was also burglarized while he was away. A case has been registered, with police efforts underway to apprehend the culprits and address security inadequacies.
