The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly celebrated a historic milestone on Wednesday as the Lok Sabha passed the Amaravati Bill, officially designating Amaravati as the capital. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu hailed it as a moment of honor for the people of Andhra Pradesh, ending the ambiguity surrounding Amaravati's future.
Naidu emphasized that the bill's passage acknowledges the sacrifices of farmers and fulfills the aspirations of crores of people.
