In a strategic move to reform land administration, Telangana's government is set to pilot the Integrated Bhu Bharati portal in five mandals, commencing this Thursday. This initiative aims to address land disputes and enhance governance efficiency.

The pilot will be conducted in Kusumanchi, Aswaraopeta, Amangal, Vatpally, and Kosgi mandals. Depending on its success, further refinements will precede statewide implementation. Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy emphasized the project's farmer-centric approach and urged smooth functionality to minimize public inconvenience.

The Bhu Bharati portal allows farmers to sidestep 'Mee Seva' centers, accessing land-related services via smartphones. After online request submissions and fee payments, surveys are arranged with licensed surveyors using modern technology. Updated data will be verified, and land parcel maps issued, marking a significant step toward resolving longstanding land issues.
