Chennai, Apr 1 (PTI) - In a significant move ahead of the Assembly elections, TVK chief Vijay unveiled the party's official campaign anthem on Wednesday. The high-energy track emphasizes the themes of social justice and Tamil identity, mirroring the party's core ideology.
This announcement comes as Vijay, a prominent actor-turned-politician, prepares to submit his nomination for the Tiruchirappalli East constituency. Anticipation is building for the anthem to play a pivotal role at Vijay's upcoming campaign rally at Marakkadai on Thursday.
The Tiruchirapalli City Police have provided a conditional no-objection certificate for the event, following a large roadshow in Perambur, Chennai, earlier this week. Vijay is campaigning for both the Perambur and Tiruchirappalli East seats in the April 23 Assembly elections.
