In a tragic incident that has rocked Jodhan village, two brothers have been apprehended following an explosion at an illegal firecracker manufacturing site. The blast resulted in the death of one employee and injuries to two others, local police reported on Wednesday.
The arrested individuals, identified as Sazid and Wazid, were operating the clandestine unit, which was discovered near Hambran, situated 25 kilometers from the explosion site. Efforts are underway to locate their third brother, authorities confirmed.
Deputy Inspector General Satinder Singh disclosed that a case has been registered under pertinent sections of the Explosive Act and Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Preliminary investigations point to a possible ignition of potash by a spark or frictional heat, with forensic experts engaged in a detailed probe.
