Interstate Heroin Syndicate Busted

The Delhi Police have successfully dismantled a major interstate heroin syndicate, arresting three individuals in a significant drug bust. Over one kilogram of heroin, valued at Rs 2 crore, was recovered, marking a substantial blow to the illegal drug trade.

The syndicate operated between the states of Uttar Pradesh and the national capital, supplying heroin to Delhi-NCR and sections of Uttar Pradesh, including Shamli and Saharanpur. Those arrested include Faeem Beg, Kayum Khan, and Amir Khan, all residents of Uttar Pradesh. Police operations were sparked by a tip-off on February 22, leading to a strategically executed operation in east Delhi.

Continued investigations have revealed the syndicate's extensive network, with Amir Khan playing a pivotal role in procuring and distributing the drug across multiple cities. Efforts to uncover additional members of this nefarious network remain a top priority, as authorities strive to dismantle the broader narcotics distribution channel.
