The Delhi High Court has intervened in a family dispute involving late industrialist Sunjay Kapur's family, restraining Priya S Kapur and Mandhira Kapur Smith from making defamatory statements against each other.
Justice Mini Pushkarna issued the order following allegations from Priya Kapur that her sister-in-law Mandhira Kapur Smith has been leading a 'malicious campaign' to damage her reputation through various media channels, including podcasts and social media.
Priya Kapur is seeking a permanent injunction and damages of Rs 20 crore, while the court has summoned Smith and podcast host Pooja Chaudhri for further proceedings in May.
