A tragic accident in Vaippar-I village resulted in the deaths of five people, including two children, in a head-on collision involving a two-wheeler and a tourist vehicle, police reported on Sunday.
Reacting to the devastating news, Chief Minister M K Stalin expressed profound sorrow and announced an ex-gratia payment to the bereaved families. He conveyed his deep shock over the incident, which claimed five lives instantly.
The victims included two young boys, aged 3 and 5. The Chief Minister offered his condolences and promised a financial aid of Rs three lakh to each of the victims' families as a gesture of support during this trying time.
