Tragic Collision Claims Five Lives in Vaiappar-I

A devastating head-on collision in Vaiappar-I village on Sunday resulted in the deaths of five individuals, including two young children, according to local police. The tragic accident involved a two-wheeler and an oncoming tourist vehicle.

Chief Minister M K Stalin expressed deep sorrow over the loss, stating his shock upon hearing that all victims died instantly at the accident scene. The deceased include two boys, aged three and five years.

In a gesture of sympathy, the Chief Minister announced an ex-gratia payment of Rs three lakh for each of the deceased's next of kin to support the grieving families during this difficult time.
