Tragic Collision: Minor Behind the Wheel in Mumbai Accident

A 33-year-old man succumbed to his injuries following a tragic accident in Mumbai, where his scooter was reportedly struck by an SUV driven by a minor. The victim, Dhrumul Patel, passed away ten days after the incident, while his wife, Minal Patel, remains in critical condition.
The collision occurred when a speeding Kia Seltos, allegedly driven by the underage individual, crashed into their scooter near Somaiya College area. Authorities have traced the SUV ownership back to the boy's father, Valji Raja Bhushan, who is being charged for allowing a minor to drive.
The police have upgraded the FIR with sections from the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and the case is being handled by the Tilak Nagar police. Investigators conducted a site inspection and reviewed CCTV footage to determine the vehicle's speed and the accident's circumstances. The investigation is ongoing.
