Tragic Road Collision: Woman Burnt Alive

A tragic road accident claimed the life of a 50-year-old woman after a motorcycle she was riding collided with a pickup truck, sparking a fire. The incident, described by Circle Officer Manoj Kumar, occurred at a crossing when the vehicles collided head-on.

The impact trapped the couple beneath the truck. Fire quickly engulfed both vehicles, resulting in the woman’s death at the scene. Emergency responders managed to contain the fire after significant effort, while locals assisted in rescuing the injured motorcyclist, Girija Shankar Mishra, who is now receiving treatment at a medical facility.

Authorities have dispatched the woman's body for a post-mortem examination, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident, as confirmed by the Circle Officer.
