In a bold statement, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy applauded Rahul Gandhi, asserting he is the sole leader questioning the Central government over an 'incompetent and compromised' trade deal with the United States. This controversial agreement, according to Reddy, endangers the livelihoods of India's farmers.
Conversely, Union Minister for Coal and Mines G Kishan Reddy denounced Gandhi's stance, accusing him of sabotaging India's economic progress. He insisted that the Free Trade Agreement with the US, alongside other international deals, stands to enhance India's exports and job market, particularly in textile sectors.
Kishan Reddy further argued that India's textile and trade growth contradicts Gandhi's warnings, emphasizing that the demand for Indian cotton remains robust. He criticized the Congress-led government's past decisions, alleging they have historically compromised national interests, while asserting that current policies prioritize farmers' welfare.
