Tragic Collision in Aegean Sea: Migrant Boat Accident Claims 14 Lives

A devastating accident involving a migrant speedboat and a Greek coast guard vessel off Chios in the eastern Aegean Sea has resulted in at least 14 fatalities, authorities confirmed on Tuesday evening. The Greek coast guard managed to rescue 25 migrants, 11 of whom were children, and transported them to a hospital on Chios. Two injured coast guard officers were also hospitalized.
