Uttar Pradesh Labour and Employment Minister Anil Rajbhar has affirmed the state's commitment to maintaining the rule of law in response to the Allahabad High Court's recent concerns over police encounters.
Addressing media representatives on Tuesday, Rajbhar stated that the police only fire in self-defence when attacked, dismissing claims of wrongful shootings.
He pointed to significant reductions in unemployment and highlighted various state initiatives that have created numerous government and private sector jobs since 2017.
