Kyrgyzstan's government has announced intentions to initiate negotiations with the European Union after a report from Bloomberg suggested the bloc plans to implement its anti-sanctions circumvention tool against the Central Asian country.
Deputy Prime Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev stated he would be in discussions with EU sanctions chief David O'Sullivan, addressing concerns that the EU may penalize Kyrgyzstan for allegedly aiding Russia in evading sanctions.
