Tragic Abduction and Killing of Pakistani Police Officer

In a shocking incident, militants abducted and killed a police constable in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Wednesday. According to the police, Constable Dastgir was taken from his residence in the Nasar Khel area by armed attackers.
Witnesses report that the assailants invaded Dastgir's home on the outskirts of Sarai Naurang tehsil, terrorizing women and children, holding the family hostage, and eventually setting the house ablaze. The tragic sequence of events concluded with Dastgir being shot dead in the Dargey area.
Authorities confirmed that Dastgir was in the region undertaking duties related to a polio vaccination campaign, while also participating in a training course at the Hangu Police Training Centre. The horrific murder and arson attack have left the local community in shock.
