In an unexpected turn of events at a Kolkata police station, a man arrested for arms smuggling stripped and performed an obscene dance inside the lockup, prompting an investigation into his bizarre conduct.
Identified as Mohammad Shahbaz, the 24-year-old was placed in Ekbalpore police station’s lockup following his arrest on Monday. His unusual actions, witnesses report, seemed designed to attract attention.
Known locally as 'Pagla Shahbaz', he reportedly even threatened officers trying to restrain him. A formal complaint has now been registered against Shahbaz, and an internal inquiry is underway, according to police sources.
