New Leadership Appointments in West Bengal's Universities
West Bengal Governor C V Ananda Bose has approved new vice-chancellor appointments for several state universities. This includes Prof Abu Taleb Khan for Biswa Bangla Biswavidyalaya and Prof Chandradipa Ghosh for Sadhu Ramchand Murmu University. The changes are effective immediately.

In a significant move, West Bengal Governor C V Ananda Bose has given the green light for a series of appointments for vice-chancellors across several state universities.
The new leadership includes Prof Abu Taleb Khan at Biswa Bangla Biswavidyalaya and Prof Chandradipa Ghosh at Sadhu Ramchand Murmu University in Jhargram. Prof Ashis Bhattacharjee and Prof Ashutosh Ghosh have been appointed to lead the University of Gour Banga and the University of Calcutta, respectively.
Additional appointments include Prof Uday Bandyopadhyay as the VC of Kazi Nazrul University and Prof Chiranjib Bhattacharjee as the VC of Jadavpur University. As Chancellor of all state-run universities, Governor Bose's approvals take effect immediately.
