According to an official from the Chief Electoral Officer's office, 143 BLOs risk suspension for not assuming their responsibilities. Many have not attended mandatory training despite an April appointment.
The commission emphasized the importance of BLOs in ensuring electoral roll integrity, and Chief Electoral Officer Manoj Kumar Agarwal is leading efforts to enforce compliance and facilitate smooth electoral processes.
