A police constable named Anju Jaiswal has been suspended following allegations of making offensive comments against the Brahmin community during an event in Madhya Pradesh's Sidhi district. The incident came to light when a video clip surfaced online.

The All India Brahmin Samaj's district president, Rakesh Dubey, formally requested action against Jaiswal, presenting a memorandum to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Aman Mishra. Responding to the complaint, Police Superintendent Santosh Kori suspended the constable.

A protest erupted on Monday outside the SP's office, calling for accountability against those who verbally abused Jaiswal. The SP promised that the grievances of the SC/ST/OBC communities would be duly investigated.
