Beauty Professional's Complaint Leads to Suspension of Bengaluru Police Officers

Two police officers in Bengaluru have been suspended after a city-based beautician accused them of serious misconduct, including cheating, criminal intimidation, and sexual harassment, according to police reports.
The suspended officials, Police Inspector Sunil H B and Assistant Sub-Inspector Prakash of DJ Halli police station, reportedly engaged with the complainant under false pretenses. The woman alleged that about a year ago, Sunil took her contact details and built a rapport with her, promising to help her in a financial dispute.
She claimed that Sunil invited her to his flat and later, under the guise of marriage, established a physical relationship with her. Additionally, ASI Prakash has been accused of seeking sexual favors. Legal actions have been initiated, with charges under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, as investigations continue.
