The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has issued a directive to the Mizoram government to submit a new detailed report addressing solid and liquid waste management issues, citing irregularities in the initial submission.
The order requires a revised Action Taken Report (ATR) that outlines timelines, fund allocation, and responsible agencies, to be submitted via e-filing before the November 5 hearing.
During an October 13 session, chaired by NGT Chairperson Justice Prakash Shrivastava, compliance with the Municipal Solid Waste Management Rules of 2016 and related environmental issues were reviewed.
