Major General Yousef Maayouf Saeed Al Hallami, Commander of the United Arab Emirates Land Forces, began a two-day official visit to New Delhi on October 27, aiming to strengthen military cooperation and explore new collaborative avenues with India.
His visit includes detailed briefings on India's defense strategies and a wreath-laying at the National War Memorial. Additionally, engagements with the Defence Research and Development Organisation highlight ongoing bilateral defense achievements.
Simultaneously, India sets the stage to commission the Survey Vessel Ikshak, a testament to its self-reliance in naval capabilities, boasting significant indigenous content and features supporting disaster relief and gender inclusivity.
