India and Seychelles Strengthen Diplomatic Ties: A New Era of Cooperation
Vice President C P Radhakrishnan met with Seychelles' President Patrick Herminie to bolster diplomatic relations and cooperation between India and Seychelles. He extended an invitation from Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a future visit to India. The visit marks a significant step in strengthening ties across various sectors.

In a significant diplomatic engagement, Vice President C P Radhakrishnan met Seychelles' President Patrick Herminie in an effort to solidify longstanding relations between the two countries. During the visit, Radhakrishnan extended a personal invitation from Prime Minister Narendra Modi for Herminie to visit India at their mutual convenience.
Highlighting the importance of partnership, Radhakrishnan emphasized India's commitment to deepening ties, particularly in areas crucial to Seychelles' development, such as health, education, energy, transport, and maritime security. This meeting aligns with India's MAHASAGAR vision, aiming at security and growth across regions.
Next year marks a milestone for both nations, celebrating 50 years of Seychelles' independence and diplomatic relations. India views Seychelles as a pivotal partner in its Global South engagements, envisioning a prosperous future for this bilateral relationship.
