A man hailing from Goa has been apprehended for allegedly scamming a woman and her family out of Rs 1.10 crore. He posed as the CEO of various companies, offering them enticing job and investment opportunities via social media, according to police.

Kunal Satish Helkar, a Maharashtra resident, is accused of orchestrating a complex cyber fraud network. He allegedly used forged company documents, counterfeit offer letters, and manipulated online identities to deceive multiple victims, said authorities.

The investigation started when Diksha Kanojia filed a complaint alleging fraud by Helkar through false employment promises, company partnerships, and attractive investment schemes.
