A speeding bus traveling from Barmer to Kota overturned on Monday morning, injuring at least 13 passengers, police confirmed.

The early morning incident took place at Dabi Turn under Nanta police station limits when the bus driver, attempting to avoid a collision with a truck, lost control. The bus skidded off its path on a wet, muddy road and overturned.

Most of the injured were transported to New Medical College Hospital in Kota and later discharged after receiving primary medical care. Police have registered a case against the driver for negligent driving and have seized the bus for further investigation.
