In a shocking incident, a woman doctor from a government hospital in Maharashtra's Satara district has allegedly taken her own life, leaving behind a distressing note.
The note, found in a hotel room on Thursday night, accused two police personnel of rape and mental harassment over five months. The victim, originally from Beed district, was employed at a government hospital in Phaltan tehsil.
Responding to the incident, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis directed the suspension of the officers implicated in the note. Additional efforts are being made by the Maharashtra Women's Commission to ensure accountability and justice for the deceased.
