Two constables sustained stab injuries during a dramatic chase by wanted criminals in Kota's Srinathpuram area, authorities reported on Thursday.

The police, acting on intelligence reports about the presence of notorious individuals Ram Chopda, Kunal, and others, attempted to apprehend the suspects on Wednesday night, according to Circle Inspector Mahendra Maru of RK Puram police station.

In the course of the pursuit through the narrow alleys, three of the suspects allegedly brandished knives, attacking constables Pushpendra Hada and Govind Choudhary. The offenders escaped using a parked constable's motorcycle, later discovered abandoned 1.5 km from the scene. The injured officers are receiving medical care, as police intensify efforts to apprehend the assailants.
