The Delhi BJP is preparing for a significant transition as it moves its operations to a freshly constructed building on DDU Marg, with work commencing on October 25, coinciding with the Chhath festival's first day. The party's leadership, including Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva, and office-bearers, will begin their duties from this new headquarters.
The move marks the end of an era as the party vacates its long-time base at 14, Pant Marg, which has been its operational hub since 1991. The new premises were inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and are designed to accommodate the growing needs of the party.
Situated on an 825-square-metre plot, the five-storey building includes several modern amenities, such as two basement levels dedicated to parking, and was constructed at a cost of Rs 2.23 crore. Key figures like State General Secretary Pawan Rana, General Secretary Vishnu Mittal, and Treasurer Satish Garg have already commenced their work in the new facility.
