Delhi Police Smash ECM Theft Ring
The Delhi Police arrested two habitual offenders for stealing engine control modules (ECMs) from vehicles in north Delhi. Identified as Mehnoor and Adil, the duo targeted parked cars at odd hours using gas cutters. Their associate Naeem remains absconding as investigations continue.

The Delhi Police have successfully dismantled a notorious gang involved in stealing engine control modules (ECMs) from parked vehicles in north Delhi's Burari. Two men were arrested in connection with the thefts, which targeted vehicles during non-peak hours.
The accused, Mehnoor and Adil, both known for their criminal past, were caught after intense CCTV surveillance and a subsequent police tip-off. A chase ensued near Wazirabad, leading to their capture along with the recovery of tools used in their crimes.
Despite this breakthrough, their associate Naeem remains at large. Authorities have recovered eight stolen ECMs and resolved several pending cases of ECM theft as investigations continue.
