Disney Networks Go Dark on YouTube TV

Google's YouTube TV has confirmed that Disney's networks, such as ESPN and ABC, will no longer be available on its service platform. This development comes as both companies could not settle on a new licensing agreement.

YouTube TV disclosed in a post on X that their contract with Disney had reached its renewal date. The company declined to agree to terms perceived as unfavorable to its subscribers, which it argues would have primarily benefited Disney's TV offerings.

Attempts to obtain a comment from Disney outside of regular working hours were unsuccessful.
