In a heartfelt appeal during the Police Flag Day parade, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy called on Maoists to renounce insurgency and integrate into mainstream society for the collective growth and reconstruction of Telangana.
Reddy highlighted recent successes in reducing Maoist activities, noting that some key Maoist leaders have already surrendered. He emphasized the crucial role peace plays in attracting investments and creating jobs, underscoring enhanced law and order as imperative.
Paying homage to fallen police officers, Reddy announced significant welfare measures, including compensation and career support for constable Pramod's family. He lauded the EAGLE force's achievements against drug crimes and the pivotal contributions of women IPS officers in Telangana's police infrastructure.
