More than 200 villagers in Gujarat's Dahod district suffered from suspected food poisoning after a wedding feast, an official confirmed on Tuesday.
At least 59 individuals were hospitalized, although their conditions remain stable. The Dahod collector reported the symptoms, including vomiting, diarrhoea, and abdominal pain, began shortly after the guests dined.
Around 400 attendees consumed a meal that featured mango juice around 8 pm. Symptoms emerged by 11 pm, prompting immediate medical response. Most affected individuals have been treated at local health centers and private hospitals.
