On April 19, thousands gathered in Xinzheng, Zhengzhou, to participate in the Yellow Emperor's Ancestral Worship Ceremony for the Bingwu Year of 2026. This annual event celebrates the legacy of Xuanyuan, the Yellow Emperor, and serves as a cultural touchstone for Chinese communities worldwide.
Featuring nine rituals, including incense offerings, collective homage, and prayers for peace, the ceremony blends traditional elements with modern cultural expressions. Notably, Chinese descendants from around the globe participated by stamping a commemorative seal and releasing ceremony-ending doves and balloons.
